Summer has arrived in Geneva, and everyone is outside enjoying the sun, including one of my clients who is ready to update his outdoor space. You may remember the plans for his living/dining area and bedroom – both vintage-inspired eclectic spaces. So I’ve put together a design that carries that feeling to his terrace but with a slightly fresher, brighter look.
I love the huge selection of furniture and decor now made for outdoor use (how cool are those lounge chairs below??), so it was fun to find the right pieces for this space. The design continues the monochromatic scheme from inside with mid-century modern style and plenty of warm wood tones, but I’ve added a few white and yellow accessories to cheer things up. Everything is made to stay outside, but you could easily use many of these pieces indoors as well. I’m always on the look out for adaptable furniture like this – a great buy if you rent or move frequently!
